Extra Curricular Clubs

We pride ourselves on the range of extra-curricular activities before, during and after school, each run under the supervision of a teacher or qualified adult.  Some of our clubs are run by external coaches and qualified adults offering our children a range of exciting opportunities. Our own teachers and teaching assistants also run a variety of clubs, some after school & some during the school day.

Autumn 2023

We are offering, Gymnastics, Football, Tennis, Performing Arts, Musical Fun, Multisports, Podcast and Friday Night Film Club. 

Activities offered include:

Sports Club – run by our outside sports coach on a Thursday after school. This term it is multisports club

Gardening Club - Usually lead by the PTA volunteers in ther spring and summer. Children make use of the growing beds in school, and they have also been donated some space at a local allotment for growing fruit and vegetables.

Football, rugby, hockey and netball – teams work towards competing against other local schools   

Swimming – confidence club runs during the summer term after school

 

Gymnastics – run by a highly qualified gymnastics coach on Mondays after school

Piano/singing/saxophone/guitar/ukulele and clarinet lessons available with our peripatetic music teachers – lessons are paid for termly

 

 

Choir: run by our music teacher, the choir perform at our Spring Concert and other events during the year

Dance – runs in the Spring Term and then we take part in the Rother Valley Arts Festival

Book club – children are selected each term to come to this club at lunchtime, they read a chapter at home each week then discuss in the club

Elm Club – extended school provision. Elm Club runs from 7.45am to 8.30am for Breakfast each day and then 3.15pm to 5.30pm for after school care. Parents book in and pay through our online system.
